Beryl's interest in working with clay did not develop until she moved to Phillip Island in 1991 with family grown up and time for herself. The earthy, hands on approach with clay appeals to her and begs to create. She likes to express emotions in her work and especially enjoys experimenting with oxides and slips for interesting finishes.
